Halloween!!!

As you surely have noticed, I revamped the blog site to a Halloween theme during the early days of October. I wasn’t able to update the blog much though, due to heavy school workload. Though, I find myself with the time to write something up tonight… finally!!!

First of all, I would like to bring up “shopping for Halloween costumes”. I, myself, did not have much luck finding a costume this year, but I have a decent backup-plan: ZOMBIE! That’s going to be fun- turns out my whole family is going to be zombified. I prefer homemade costumes, but they require too much time to make in most circumstances. At least being a zombie allows me to still piece together my own costume, being oh-so-creative and all. Oh well, there’s always next year.

Searching endlessly for costume ideas on the web, I fell upon many interesting and funny costumes. Here are a few I’d like to share:

Pretty unique if I do say so myself. There were many other costumes I found interesting, but I was unsuccessful in my attempt to retrieve them all.

So, what are you up to this Halloween… or should I say what were you up to this Halloween? Partying hard, or striking gold trick-or-treating!? I hope to accomplish both! Don’t forget to post what you were dressed as!

Giant Microbes?

I was recently shown this interestingly weird website! It’s called Giant Microbes.

Basically, it’s a site where you can purchase plushies of various germs. bacteria, and things of the like. I sure had a few laughs reading this site. They are considered “educational”, as they include information on the germ that the plushie represents, as well as a picture of the real thing. Some of them are gruesome, but most of them are just hilarious! Who knew herpes was so… cute? Other plushies include: pimple, bad breath, the common cold, flu, rabies, malaria, algae, krill, and who could not forget… sperm cells.

Herpes is....cute?
